Since We Are Saved By Grace,
Shall We, Then, Continue In Sin? ...

God forbid (Romans chapter 6). Yes, we are saved by grace, not by works. But, becoming a Christian is not a license to wallow in sin as the rest of the world. We are the light of the world. The world is full of darkness, and one of our missions is to be the light in the world full of darkness. We ought to show the world what it means to know God, and living for God. God wants His children to live holy as a testimony to the devil, his demons, and the world.
 
    Jesus says: This people draw nigh unto me with their mouth, and honor me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. 
(Matt. 15:8). God knows those that are His. 
       Paul says: But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you as becometh saints Ephesians 5: 3. Paul instructs us to mortify the fleshReadColossians 3. Romans. 1: 29-31; 1 Tim. 1: 9-11; Gal.. 5: 19-21; 1 Cor. 6: 9-10; Matt 7: 21-23. 

In conclusion: The difference between Christians and unbelievers sinning is like a sheep and a pig in a swamp. A pig rejoices in a swamp because that is where he belongs. A sheep, on the other hand, is restless in the swamp until he gets out of it. A Christian is usually joyless when in sin because of the ongoing conviction of the Holy Spirit. If you are a Christian, and living in sins, and has no conviction, you need to reexamine your salvation. Repent, Confess, and Forsake your sins. God is faithful to forgive you as promised- 1Joh. 1:9; Ps. 66:18; Pro. 28:13. 

Christians & Sinning!
   What Does the Bible Say?

One of the challenges for preachers, even in the times of the Apostles, is making a distinction between the 1) common human vulnerability to commit sin and 2) living in sin. Together, let us find out what the Word of God is saying to us:
    
     First, the Bible tells us that “we are all as an unclean thing, and all of our righteousness are as filthy rags … (Isaiah 64:6). The Bible tells us that no matter how much we try to live holy, we will fall short, that we cannot be good enough on our own (1John 1: 8-10).
     Also,on the other hand, the Bible tells us to be holy (Rev. 22: 11-12), and that sin defiles us (Matt. 15: 19-20; Mark 7: 21-23; 1 Cor. 3:17). Sin makes us stink in the presence of the Holy God. It is written, in the book of Revelation 21:27, that only those which have not defile their garments will be worthy. This means that nothing defiled or corrupted will enter into His Kingdom. 

Again, the question that keeps confronting all of us is this: How do we reconcile these 2 biblical truths & bring them into harmony knowing that the Bible is not, and it cannot contradict itself? 

God spoke through prophet Isaiah, saying: For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, said the Lord, for as heaven is higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts-Is. 55: 8-9

Father God, we pray that you grant us the wisdom that we need to understand your words as they are meant to be understood, in Jesus name; Amen.

Who Is Perfect, and Without Sin?

If our going to Heaven is based on our sinlessness or righteousness we will all end up in hell. According to human history, no one has ever lived without sin except Jesus Christ, our Lord. Let us examine in brief, some of our predecessors from Adam and Eve, to Simon Peter!

       Adam and Eve were the first people. They sinned. It was God’s Grace that spared their lives (Gen 3: 21). God made the first sacrifice ever, to Himself, so that Adam and Eve were not consumed by His wrath. The animal God used: its blood and skin symbolized Jesus our Savior, who is our Cloak of Righteousness. 

Noah was one of the great grand children of Enoch. Noah was described as a righteous man, who found favor with God. God commanded him to build the Ark (Gen. 6: 8-9) in which Noah and his family were preserved before the flood overtook the earth (Gen. 7). Noah’s Ark symbolized our Savior, Jesus Christ. Well, was Noah a righteous man, without sin, all the days of his life? Read Genesis 9: 20-21.

Abraham was the father of faith. But God told him “...I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.” (Gen. 17: 1). 

Jacob (renamed Israel) was a deceiver. 

Moses received the Law. He spoke with God, in the cloud, face to face. But, all in all, Moses didn’t make it to the promised land because of his imperfection (Deut. 32: 48-52).

Simon Peter was a Chief Disciple of our Lord. He wasn’t perfect by any means. He was saved by Grace like you and me (Luke 22: 31-34). Peter denied knowing Jesus Christ 3ice Matt. 26: 69-75, while Jesus was on the Cross. 
What about Judah, Samson, Saul, David, Solomon? What about the rest of the kings of Judah, kings of Israel, judges, and priests? No one is 100% perfect. 

What Does the Bible Say About ...

Sinning?



Jesus says: Not every one that says unto me Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity- 
Matthew 7:21-23

But, the question is: Who among us is without sin? 
Shedding a light on this puzzle is the burden of this booklet.




We Are All As An Unclean Thing

...and all our righteousness are as filthy rags…(Isaiah 64:6).
  
And she (Mary) shall bring forth a son, and thou shall call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins (Matthew 1:21).

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit 
(Rom. 8:1-3).

He hath not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities… (Psalm 103: 10-12).

For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of your self: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast (Eph. 2: 8-9).
   
For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace(Rom. 6:14).         
Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law (Rom. 3:28).
 
If thou, Lord, should mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?
-Psalm 130:3

There Are No Contradictions

 The Truth will never change. We are not saved because we are doing the right things. Neither are we going to hell because we are doing the wrong things. But, to the contrary, we are saved because we have accepted God’s plan for salvation - John 3:16-18 and, we are going to hell because we have rejected His plan. Jesus said no man cometh unto the Father but by me But, He never condone sinning




C. Lack Of Forgiveness Affects Our Spirit: 

     (1) Our lack of forgiveness robs us of joy. It is almost impossible to have joy when holding grudges and resentments against self or others. God wants us to be joyful -Philippians 4:4
     
     (2) Not forgiving self or others, holding grudges, anger or resentment is a sin. It keeps us hostage, incapacitates our spiritual grow, and it affects our prayer life. The psalmist says: God does not hear a sinner (Psalms 66:18). The only thing that God hears of a sinner is his/her confession- 1John 1:9; Pr. 28:13.
     
     (3) Our lack of forgiveness erodes our authority over demonic activities, and makes us vulnerable. The Devil knows that our lack of forgiveness automatically puts us in conflict with God. Devil enjoys seeing us in conflict with God because that is when he can attack us, knowing that sin removes the edge of protection God has erected around us (Ps. 125:2). 

Our Lack of Forgiveness Will Lead Us To Hell

Not forgiving self or others is a sin, and no sinner will inherit the Kingdom of God. Jesus says “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses - Matthew 6: 14-15). To miss out on God’s forgiveness means going to HELL. Does it worth it? *Blessed are the peacemakers for they shall be called the children of God (Matthew 5: 9). 
Conclusion
If you and I want to go to Heaven, we must be quick to forgive ourselves and others! Not forgiving will only lead to Hell. No other way! 

Forgiveness

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
-Ephesians 4:32.

Forgiveness is a requirement, not an option for every child of God. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, forgiveness is a commandment. God commands you to forgive. We can make it a choice, an option, rather than a command however, if we have nothing to do with God, Jesus Christ or Heaven

To Forgive Does Not Mean To Forget

God is not asking us to forget those horrible things that people have done to us, or those horrible things that we have done to ourselves. We have the right to remember them. But, what God is asking us to do is to rule over the remembrance of those negative experiences rather than allowing them to rule over us. God wants us to take the pain of remembering and turn it into an opportunity from which we draw strengths. As one philosopher has said “that which failed to kill us makes us stronger.” The things that God allowed in our lives were not allowed to destroy us but to make us stronger. He told Paul “My grace is sufficient for thee, for my strength is made perfect in weakness(2 Corinthians 12:9).   
   People Are Not Your Enemies   
Your parents are not your enemy. Not your children, not your relatives, not your friends, not your in-laws, not your pastors; it is the devil who hates your existence and uses everything, including you, to accomplish his mission.

Lack of Forgiveness Is A Deadly Weapon

Not forgiving those that have offended us, not forgiving our own selves for the wrong things we have done, or for the right things we have failed to do, can become a deadly weapon against us and those around us. Lack of forgiveness affects our physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. Human beings are not just a body. We are souls, we have the spirit of God in us, and we live in a body (1Thessalonians. 5:23). Lack of forgiveness can A) transform to anger B) trouble our soul C) affect our spirit: our relationship with God.

     A. Lack of Forgiveness Can Transform To Anger: Not forgiving those that have wronged us breeds resentment. Resentment stirs up anger. Anger is like an acid, a deadly poison. Acid has the capacity to destroy the objects it is poured upon, as well as the container in which it is preserved. In many circumstances, anger will hurt its owner first, before he or she has the opportunity to hurt someone else
 1) Anger destroy the immune system. If you ask me how? I do not have all the details but, we know it does. Anger affects the normal physiological functions of our body, including the white blood cells. White blood cells are very essential for the protection of our body. Angry people are prone to have aches and pains. They are vulnerable to catch a cold, have ulcer, cancer, strokes, high blood pressure, upset stomach, heart disease, and many more. 
 2) Anger affects our emotional wellbeing. An angry person is likely to develop hatred, have relationship issues, drug issues, feel depressed, paranoid, develop anxiety etc 
   


Forgiveness
  B. Lack of forgiveness troubles our soul:
Lack of forgiveness is a spiritual deficit. It’s deadly effects manifest in all 3 dimensions of our being: the body, soul, and spirit. We have seen how “not forgiving self or others” gives birth to resentment, and resentment to anger, and how anger affects our body in so many deadly ways. Now, let us look at how “lack of forgiveness” affects our souls. Any, and all, emotional problems has a spirit behind it. Un-forgiveness is a spirit, an evil spirit, just like any other evil spirit such as lying, fornicating, murder, adultery, anger, witchcraft, sorcery, drunkenness, and others. Our lack of forgiveness is a rebelliousness of choice against God!
  (1) Then came Peter to Him (Jesus), and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? Till seven times? Jesus said unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven (Matt. 18: 21-22), meaning up to 490 times a day.

     (2) When Jesus was dying on the Cross, He prayed unto the Father, saying: Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do (Luke 23:34).

      (3) As they were stoning Stephen to death, he prayed to God to forgive his assailant, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. And he kneeled ... cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge…Acts 7:59-60. Jesus & Stephen taught us as they were dying to pray for our enemies. 

            Offences Will Come 

Jesus says that Offences will come (Luke 17:1), and they often come through people. But, people are not the enemy! People are simply easy channels, for the devil to use against us. Behind every offence are demonic forces!



Salvation, healing, and deliverance were integral to the Gospel during the time of Christ & the Apostles. The Apostles preached the gospel with signs & wonders following. Has God changed? No, God never changed (Malachi 3:6). Has Christ changed? No, Christ never changed (Hebrews 13:8). The only thing changing is our faith getting weaker in God’s Word. God never changed, and His Word never changed.

We must quit lying on God, saying He is the one putting illnesses on His children. Even an earthly father will not wish such evils for his children. It is the devil, not God. Devil comes to steal, to kill, and to destroy. Jesus came to give us life, and life abundantly (John 10:10). I want you to hear me: as long as you continue to believe that God put those illnesses on you, you will never be cured. No doctor will be able to cure you of an illness you believe God wants you to have. No escaping!

The devil is a liar. God’s thoughts toward us are not evil but good (Jer. 29:11). You must renew your mind, reach out, and receive your healing today. It is yours. It has been given to you through the suffering & crucifixion of Christ. Take what belongs to you by faith, and not leaning on your own understanding. Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. Don’t listen to your five senses telling you “this is too good to be true.” Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Quit being double minded. A double minded person receives nothing from God –James 1:6-8 . My brothers and sisters, divine healing is yours, reach out now & take it. Release your faith & be healed in Jesus’ Name. 

Christians are temples of God and of the Holy Ghost -1Cor. 3:16. The Holy Ghost is Christians’ Power House. Jesus said “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and ... unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8). Christians have divine power to tear down the strongholds of the devil. The anointing destroys the yoke. With God in us, Jesus Christ in us, and the Holy Ghost in us, the devil is not a match. Greater is He that is in us than thousands of devils combined. In James 4:7, we are commanded to “…. resist the devil, and he must flee. Diseases & Illnesses come from the devil, not God. If sicknesses are from God, Jesus would be working against God by healing the sick. God says “I am He that Heals thee.” We shall lay hand on the sick, and they shall recover. Let us drive those demons out– Mark 16:17. You have the faith. Exercise it.

        
“...I am the Lord that heals you …” Exodus 15:26

Your health is a priority to God. He says “Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospers – 3John 2. God wants you to be healthy. If you are a Christian, if you are a born again child of God, divine healing belongs to you. Healing is children’s Bread – Matt 15:25-28.
God wants you to be healed, and He has made the provision available to you in Jesus Christ- Matt. 8:17. 

Not yet a Christian?
If you are not yet a Christian, divine healing belongs to those who have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord & Savior. To be entitled to this blessing however, you must believe on the One crucified for the remission of sins. Jesus was crucified for the remission of our sins. He was buried. He went to hell for us, He rose on the 3rd day, ascended unto Heaven, now sitting on the right hand of Glory (Rom. 8:34), interceding for us. “...whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life (John 3:16). Jesus is the Rock upon which our lives must be built. All other grounds are sinking sand (Matt. 7:24-27. It is a nightmare for anyone to die without accepting Christ. It is also a nightmare to be alive without Him. Not having Jesus Christ dwelling in you means you are on your way to hell. It makes you a playing ground in the hands of the devil. By believing and accepting Jesus Christ today, you will have access to all the Blessings of the Cross. 

Already a Christian & Sickly?
There are 4 common hindrances to divine healing. 
1) Ignorance: Ignorance is a powerful hindrance to divine healing. Not knowing can be deadly, both in the natural & spiritual realm. Many Christians have no idea of what are included in their package of salvation. Our salvation includes having good health, victory over demonic attacks & yes, it includes that God meets all of our needs according to Phil. 4:19; Matt. 6:31-33. God doesn’t want his children to be sickly, financially broke or, to be chased around by the devil. But, if we don’t know who we are in Christ, and who Christ is in us, the devil will continue to prey on our ignorance. Many Christians are like a beggar who has an hundred dollar bill hidden in his pocket & is going around hungry begging for food. That is why it is very important that we read our Bible regularly. Reading our Bible regularly will reveal who we are in Christ, and who Christ is in us. It will reveal that divine healing belongs to the believers.

#2) Lack of faith: Lack of faith in God’s Word robs us of material blessings as well as divine healing. Christians need to understand that there is no other means for believers to receive divine healing other than our faith in the sacrifices Jesus has made. The same faith that got us saved is the same faith that will trigger divine healing. The woman with issue of blood says “if I may touch the helm of His Garment...” The same blood Jesus shed on the Cross for sins, paid also for our divine healings. Rom. 10:17 tells us that faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. You have to hear it read or read it yourself, and believe it. Faith is the substance of things we hoped for, and the evidence of things we cannot see (Heb. 11:1). Faith says, I have it now, even if I can’t see it. Many of us stay sick because we are prone to embrace what humans have to say about our conditions than trusting in the word of the living God. We must stop listening to human opinions about our situations.

#3) Sin: Sin is an hindrance to divine healing. “When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, son, thy sins be forgiven thee ...I say unto thee, Arise, and take up thy bed, and go thy way into your house.” - Mark 2:5-11. As we can see in this quotation, sins and sicknesses are related and, according to 1John 3:8, sin belongs to the devil. When a Christian committed sin & failed to repent, he, the Christian, is in possession of what belongs to the devil, and the devil often interpret this as an invitation. Devil always look for an opportunity, and sinning gives him that opportunity. David says: If I regard iniquity (sin) in my heart, God will not hear me - Ps. 66:18. In order to be able to receive divine healing, we must deal with ALL sins in our life. We must confess ALL sins, repent of them, and forsake them & God will have mercy on us - Pr. 28:13. In the book of James, God asks: Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the lord. And the prayer of faith shall save the sick & the Lord shall raise him up, and if he has committed sins, they shall be forgiven him - Jam. 5:14-16. In verse 16, God commanded us saying: “Confess your faults one to another and pray for one another, that ye may be healed” Sin robs us of good health, makes living miserable & cause premature death!!! 

#4) Prayerlessness: Not prayerful hinders divine healing. Prayers, Fasting & Holiness build up our Faith. Matt. 17:21

God’s Medicine
1. Exodus 15:26: ...If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD thy God, and do what is right…, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have brought on the Egyptians. For I am the LORD that heals you."

God says: Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as               
     thy soul prospers – 3John 2.  
Don’t let anybody tell you it is God’s will for you to be sick. If that is true, Jesus would be working against God by healing the sick. God does not put sicknesses on His children. “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end– Jer. 29:11. 

Don’t let anybody tell you, you have an incurable disease. The devil is a liar, there is no disease incurable for God.God asks: “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me? - Jer. 32:27.

Be careful of what you are saying!
“For by thy words thou shall be justified, and by thy words thou shall be condemned.” - Matt 12:37.

Start saying “yes” to your Salvation. Say “yes” to your Healing. Say “yes” to your Blessings. Say “I received them now. They are mine: I am saved, I am healed, I am prospered.” And, if anybody asks you: “How do you know?” You tell them: “Because God says so” - Joshua 1:8. 

“And this is the confidence that we have in Him, that, if we ask any thing according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions (requests) that we desired of Him.” - 1John 5-14-15.
Amen.


2. 2Chronicles 7:14: If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

3. Psalm 103:1-3: Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, O my soul & forget not all His benefits: Who forgives all your iniquities & heals all your diseases

4. Psalm 107:20: He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

5. Proverbs 4:20-22: My son, attend to my words; incline your ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from your eyes; keep them in the midst of your heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.

6. Isaiah 53:5: But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes we are healed.”

7. Jeremiah 30:17: For I will restore health to you, and heal you of your wounds,' says the LORD...

8. Matt. 8:16: When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with his word and He healed all that were sick

9. Matt. 12:22: Then was brought to Him one possessed with a devil, blind and dumb: and He healed him, insomuch that the blind and dumb both spoke and saw.

10. Matt. 10:1: And when He had called unto Him His twelve disciples, He gave them power over unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all kinds of sickness and all manner of disease.

11. Matthew 10:8: Jesus told the disciples: Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

12. Acts 5: 12-16: “And by the hands of the apostles were many signs and wonders wrought among the people… and they were healed everyone.” 
                  Glory to God!!!

      What Are the Channels the Enemy Is Using?

The channels that the devil and his demons are using to attack us can be our own selves, or our relatives, other people, animals, or things. Let us examine these channels briefly:
     Self: You are the first channel that the devil will like to use against you. *The same ungodly behaviors or habits that you used to engage-in before you were saved can become some sneaky tools for the devil and his demons. Ask yourself in honesty, if you are one in this category. If the devil can get you to live in sin, his mission is accomplished. The devil knows that once you are in sin, the wall of protection that God has erected around you will crack, and through the cracked wall he will gain entrance into your body, soul & spirit. Then he can inflict you with emotional pain, physical pain, or perhaps kill you. 
        Other people: If the devil failed to get to you directly, then the next step is to use a secondary channel. Secondary channels can be your mate, relatives,, other people, animals, things, or a combination of the above. Devil used a fruit, a snake, and Eve to get Adam. He went extra miles on Job. The devil killed all of Job’s children. He destroyed all of his wealth. He set his wife and friends against him.            Animals or things: Animals and/or things are subtly used by the devil through demonic images we hang on the walls. Images such as dragon statue; a snake; pharaoh head, images that represent other gods. What about those demonic tattoos? What about some television and Internet programs we watch? Devil will always follow his belongings.

Conclusion
There are demonic forces behind all ungodly acts, ungodly thoughts, and feelings. To win this fight, we must protect our body and spirit by renewing our mind daily in the Word of God (Rom. 12: 1-2).

No Weapon That Is Formed Against Thee Shall Prosper… (Isaiah 54:17).

We know that there are weapons according to the Scripture. We know that someone is forming them BUT, God is saying to us, to you and me: it doesn’t matter what weapons that there are, and it doesn’t matter who is forming them, they shall not prosper.Now, the question is this: “Can we believe that God means this?” Yes, we can! Because it is impossible for God to lie. Both the Old and New Testaments affirmed that it is impossible for God to lie. (Num. 23:19; Titus 1:2; Hebrews 6:18).God spoke through our Lord, Jesus Christ, saying: Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away. (Matthew 24:35; Isaiah 55:11; Psalm 119:89).
God Means Whatever comes out of His mouth. Glory!!!

  God Is Not Talking About Guns & Bullets

We know that God is not talking about guns and bullets. God is not talking about weapons that can destroy our body but cannot destroy our soul here, even though He is equally concerned about every dimension of our being. 

What are: 1) the goals of the enemy’s weapons? 2) the weapons the enemy is using? 3) Who is the enemy ? And, 4) Who are the channels the Enemy Is Using? 

Let us go over these briefly: 

The Goals of the Enemy’s Weapons
The goals of these demonic weapons are to 1) steal from us 2) kill us 3) destroy us or 4) set us in conflict against our God. Their ultimate goal is to separate us from God & when that seems impossible, they are determined to inflict emotional pain, and physical pain on us as much as we will allow. Yes, I say as much as we will allow, because we can resist each & every one of these demonic attacks. Yes, we can!!!

The Weapons the Enemy Is Using

Weapons are not people but spiritual forces, and they come in variety of ways. These demonic spirits gain their entrances into our minds through our senses. Some demonic spirits are used, only in the primary. Some as secondary, and some are used in the final attack such as in death. Lesser spirits that manifest in behaviors or habits are the enemy’s first line of attack and, depending on their success, these spirits may stay and transform themselves into more deadly weapons. They may retreat or flee according to James 4:7. Also, they may leave the person temporarily, simply to go and bring some more deadly spirits to help accomplish their goals (Matthew 12:43-45). Let us look at some of these spiritual weapons in brief:
        1) Demonic weapons may manifest as Behaviors such as Anger, Unforgiving, Resentment, Lying, etc.                                         
        2) Demonic weapons may manifest as Habits such as Alcohol or Drug Abuse, Smoking, Glutton, etc.
        3) Demonic weapons may manifest as Actions such as Criminal Acts, Sexual Immoralities, and so on.   
    Who Is the Enemy?

*The Bible tells us that in the beginning, the devil and one third of the angels rebelled against God. They were cast out of Heaven. These fallen angels and the devil have transformed themselves into demonic spirits trying to reduplicate themselves in us. Their ultimate goal is to make us rebels against God, and to share the hell with them. When a spirit of lie gets into a person he makes that person a liar. When a spirit of murder gets into a person he makes that person a murderer. When a filthy spirit gets into a person he may make that person an homosexual, an adulterer, a fornicator, etc. When a binge spirit gets into a person he makes that person a glutton. For every person there are thousands of demonic spirits following him, so also is for a neighborhood, a city, a nation, and the world as a whole. Devil is extremely skillful and tactical in his ways but we are more than the conqueror. Greater is He that is us that he that is in the world. All ungodly behaviors have demonic spirits behind them.

The Devil And His Demons Have the Power to Transform Themselves


One single demonic spirit can perform tens, hundreds or more duties, and when a spirit is limited to a certain function, it will go and find another spirit more appropriate, or perhaps more wicked than itself, to get the job done (Math. 12:43-45).
       A spirit of depression or fear that is working against an individual may transform itself into a suicide spirit. That is why it is not uncommon for those who are depressed, living in fear, or suffering from spirits of anxiety to commit suicide. A filthy spirit such as sexual immorality may transform itself into gonorrhea or aids, or other sexually transmitted diseases. 
     A spirit of addiction may transform itself into cirrhosis of the liver. A nicotine spirit may transform itself into cancerous spirit such as the cancer of the lung. 
          A lying spirit may transform itself into a deceiver, a thief, a robber, and eventually a killer. 
 A spirit of anger may transform itself into aggression, and if it is not tamed, a serial killer.
      A spirit of glutton may transform itself into obesity, high blood pressure, and depression. 

*As stated earlier, the goal of these weapons is either to steal from us, to kill us, to destroy us, to set us in conflict with God, or all of the above!!! Nonetheless, God doesn’t want us to take off running from the devil and his demons. God wants us to put up a good fight of faith. God wants us to resist the devil and his demons, and they will flee! We must fight demonic forces, and not running! 

Remember also, that we may be living right, and still subjected to demons’ attack. Sometimes God allows this, not to destroy us but to proof to the devil that nothing he does to us will separate us from His Love (Rom. 8: 35-39). At the end, these experiences make us stronger. Jesus Himself was led by the Spirit to be tempted by devil. Upon His 
 

The testimony of Jesus Christ Himself: For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost(Luke 19:10). Jesus says: I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the father, but by me (John 14: 6).

     Nothing Else But the Blood of Jesus For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul (Lev. 7:11). We are not saved because we are good persons but because we have accepted the BLOOD Jesus shed for us.

Jesus shed His blood. Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by His own blood He entered in once into the Holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us (Heb. 9:12). Jesus says: I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep (John 10:11). *No Greater Love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends (John 15:13). Jesus lay down His life for us. He is the Solid Rock upon which our faith is built. All other foundations are sinking sand (Acts 4:12). Heaven Is Real! Hell Is Real! You Must Decide!

Are you ready to give your life to Christ now? If your answer is “YES,” then pray this prayer: I confess that I am a sinner and I cannot save myself. I believe that Jesus Christ died for my sin. I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord & Savior. Lord Jesus, come into my life now. Lord Jesus, come dwell in me (Rev. 3:20). Holy Spirit come dwell in me now, in Jesus’ name. Amen! If you have genuinely prayed that prayer, I welcome you to the “Body of Christ” (Romans:10:9-11).

Question 1: Why do I need to be saved? 
Answers: I need to be saved because:
            A. I inherited the sin of Adam and Eve. Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men (Gen. 3: 1-24), for that all have sinned- Romans 5:12.                           
        B. As a result of Adam and Eve’s disobedience, you and I became sinners through birth. Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive mePsalms 51:5. 
     C. Since Adam and Eve’s disobedience, every human being has been assigned an appointment with death (except in Rapture). For the Wages of Sin is death; eternal death, eternal separation from God (Rom. 6:23). And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment (Hebrews. 9:27; Rom. 5:12). Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine: the soul that sins, it shall die Ezekiel 18:4. 

Jesus affirmed that sinners will spend their eternity in hell-fire, with the devil and his angels (Matt. 25:41; Matt. 13: 37-42 and 47-50). David wrote: The wicked shall be turned into hell & all the nations that forget God -Ps. 9:17
  
Question 2: Why do I need a Savior?
Answers: I need a Savior because:
           A. I am a sinner, and I cannot save myself. But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags—Isa. 64:6; Romans 3:23. 
     B. Without a Savior, I am destined to Hell. Jesus went to Hell for me -John 3:16.

Jesus Paid the Price

3. Jesus Christ redeemed us from the Curse of Adam’s and Eve’s disobedience. Therefore as by the offense of one judgment came upon all men to condemnation; even so by the righteousness of one the free gift came upon all men unto justification of life. For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. (Romans 5:18-19).

4. Christ redeemed us from the Curse of the Law of Moses, Christ fulfilled the Mosaic Law:
Jesus said, Think not that I come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfill (Matthew 5:17). Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us … (Galatians 3:13). 

5. Our faith in Jesus Christ gives us access to Abraham Blessings. All of Abraham’s Blessings belong to those believing in Jesus Christ.
 A. And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith … So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham (Galatians 3:8-9).  
 B. It is written: That the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Jesus Christ; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith (Galatians 3:14).
 C. And, if ye be in Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise (Galatians 3:29). We are in Christ!!!

*Life on earth is a journey, and it has an end. “And as it is appointed unto men, once to die, but after this the judgment”--Hebrews 9:27,

“The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God”-Psa. 9:17.

Therefore hell hath enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure...” Isaiah 5:14.
    
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil, and his angelsMatthew 25:41. __________________________

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life—John 3: 16

He that believeth on the Son has everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him—John 3:36.

Here Are Some More Testimonies Revealing Jesus Christ is the Truth & Only Savior

The testimonies of Prophet Isaiah: 
     (1) Isaiah 7:14 says Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; behold a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel This testimony was confirmed by an angel in the New Testament: Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted, God with us. 
   (2) Isaiah 53:5 says he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him: and with his stripes we are healed. 

Isaiah’s testimony was confirmed by Peter, by saying (Jesus) “who his own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” 1Peter 2:24  
   
The testimony of The Angel of the Lord: ...For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, which is Christ the Lord (Luke 2: 9-11).

The testimony of John the Baptist:  
       The next day John saw Jesus coming unto him, and said, behold the Lamb of God, which takes away the sin of the world- John 1:29

The testimonies of God Himself:  
        (1) And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased (Matthew 3:17).
       (2) ...and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye Him
Matthew 17:5). God did testify of His Son. Glory!



9) He Is Loyal
 As a soldier, our loyalty must be to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, and to Him alone! Jesus is the One, the only One, who died for our sins on the Cross. We must serve Him, and Him alone. Many Christians have difficulty separating from the world. They want to go to Heaven but still want to continue to pledge their allegiance to the world of demons. They will fellowship with fellow Christians on Sunday morning but at night in fellowship with spiritual darkness in high places. We can either be cold or hot. We cannot partake in the Kingdom of God and of the devil.
      Paul wrote Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of the devil; ye cannot be partakers of the Lord’s table, and of the table of the devils (1Corinthians 10:21).

   Jesus said No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other (Matthew 6:24).

    Jesus said Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in Heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity (Matthew 7: 21-23).

 Jesus said To him that overcome will I grant to sit with me in my Throne even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in His Throne. Rev. 3:21  
 
*Let Us Be Good Soldiers for Jesus, Our Lord!!!
Christians Are Expected To Be Soldiers
 
Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Christ. No man that wars entangles himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier 1Tim. 2: 3-4

   Our Battle Is Not Against Flesh & Blood 

For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and spiritual wickedness in the high places-Eph. 6:12.

Our God Himself Is A Soldier 
 
Ex. 14:14; Deut. 1:30; 3:22; 20:4; Jos. 23:10 reveal to us that our God Himself is a Warrior. He fought for the Israelites against their enemies in the wilderness. When God fights, He only fights for His children. God has no need to fight for Himself. Today, God sends His Angels to assist us, and to protect us from demonic attacks as we call on the name of Jesus Christ (Phil. 2:9-10). If it is not for this God’s protection, none of us will be able to make it through another day. 

The Devil Stated the War in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; 

And there was war in Heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon (devil); and the dragon fought and his angels. And prevailed not; neither was their place was found anymore in Heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceives the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him (Rev. 12: 7-9). These fallen angels are our enemies.

  Some of the Characteristics of A Soldier?

1. He Is Committed    
      And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the Kingdom of God (Luke 9: 62).

       A soldier is committed to fight regardless of what may be going on in his personal life. Whether he is in lack or in abundance, in good or bad health, in joy or sadness, a soldier usually maintains his commitment to the call of duty. 

2. He Endures Hardship   
     1Timothy 2:3 instructs us: “thou therefore endure hardness…”   
  
  Paul says: I know both how to be abased, and I know how to be abound: every where and in all things I am instructed to be full and to be hungry, both to abound, and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengthening me (Philippians 4:11-13). 

3. He Endures Persecution
2Timothy 3:12 says: Yea, and all that will leave godly in Christ shall suffer persecution. If we are soldiers of Christ & we never experienced persecution, we have blended-in with the world. The Gospel of Jesus Christ and persecutions are unavoidable twins (John 15: 20; 16: 1-2, 33).   

4. He Is Obedient
  1. In Studying the Bible
  2. In Loving & Giving. Love Gives 
  3. In Worshipping God in Pureness
  4. In Setting His Affection On Heaven
  5. In Faith and Boldness, Trusting in God 
  6. In Witnessing the Gospel of Our Savior
  7. In Prayer: Acts 6:4; Ps. 55:17; Dan. 6:10 It will take prayers & fasting to live in obedience!
  







On Becoming 
Soldier
5. To Him Everything Else Becomes Secondary 
           In the face of his call to duty, a soldier’s wife and children, hobbies, and engagements, are all suspended, and became secondary for the call of his duty. 

Jesus said: He that loves father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loves son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. (Matt. 10: 37).                                                         
He that finds his life shall lose it: and he that loses his life for my sake shall find it (Matt. 10:39).

6. He Is Devoted, On Alert, Always Available
      Whether it is in a Winter rain or a Summer heat, a devoted soldier is always on alert, and available as soon as a call to duty is made. A devoted soldier usually drops whatever he may engaged in to answer the call of his duty. 

7. He Is Always A Soldier
      A soldier is always, and always will be a soldier, even in a veteran status. In Christianity however there is no veteran status for the soldiers of Christ. To stop being a soldier means to die, a spiritual death. 

8) He Practices Moderation, Self Denial
      A soldier of Christ must practice moderation in all things (Phil. 4:5). We must be self disciplined. The word discipline comes from discipleship. We must learn to crucify the flesh, daily, and becoming living sacrifices unto God.  
I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God ... And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind-Rom. 12.



Ministry Performed In Sin Will Not Be Rewarded

Jesus warned His followers that services rendered in sin will not be rewarded and, also, those that rendered services in sin will not enter into His Kingdom. This warning is echoed also by Paul in his epistles. Let us read from the word of our Lord Himself first, as is documented in the gospel according to Matthew: 

Not every one that says unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? And in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity—Matthew 7: 21-23 

In his Epistles, Paul wrote: 
Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God -1Corin. 6: 9-10.

In Romans 6:1, Paul asked: What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? The answer is No, “God forbid” as responded in verse 2.

It will be a sad ending for anybody to have labored all of one’s life, hoping to end up in paradise with Christ, and with a warmth welcome by Christ and His angels BUT, instead, to watch all of one’s works burnt up (1Corinthians 3: 13-17) and self as passing through hell-fire, with no opportunity to come back on earth to make it right. This is a dreadful thing to imagine!!!

The only reason you and I are still here on earth is to multiply the # of people going to heaven. As we are witnessing to others & exercising our gifts however, let us all remember Paul’s admonition in 1Cor. 9:27. 




Stay In Your Lane   

“Stay In Your Lane” is a lesson that God has taught me through the title of a book written by a TV Court-Judge. I never read the book but heard of the title, and I started to apply my own concept of the title to our spiritual calling.

Not Every Minister Will Minister Around the World

It is a common thing to wonder why God is not using us as He is using the man over there, or the woman over there OR why we don’t have the type of gifts that they have. It can be frustrating as well when we make another person’s ministry to be a measuring tool by which we measure our own calling. God taught me that not every minister is called to minister around the world, nor will have the resources to do so. Many of us are called to minister internationally and some of us, nationally. Some of us are called to minister in the State where we live, and some of us in our city, in our neighborhood, in our backyard and, some in few or all of the above. 

Every Call Is Important! None Is Superior To Others

God taught me that not every minister will be an apostle, a prophet, an evangelist, a pastor, or a teacher but, each office is just as important as the other. We must learn to appreciate our gifts, understand our calling , and feel comfortable in our lane. 

In 1Corinthians 12, Paul worked very hard to help us to understand that all spiritual gifts constitute one body. All came from One Holy Spirit. All are important, and necessary. Without one or the other the body of Christ, the church, would be incomplete

Read the whole Chapter! Verses 17-18 asked: If the whole body were an eye, where were the hearing? If the whole were hearing, where were the smelling? But now hath God set the members every one of them in the body as it hath pleased Him.

You & I Must Find Out What God Is Calling Us To Do!

I believe in prophesy but when it comes to God’s calling, He mostly and usually calls the individuals directly. Being certain of our calling is very important –2Peter 1:10. You don’t start a ministry because someone thinks you are a minister or you have this or that gift. Your calling is between you & God. Samuel was a young man when he received a call and God spoke to him directly –1Sam. 3:4-10. Jeremiah was a child when God called him into the ministry and God spoke to him directly –Jer. 1:4-10. Hearing from God is what gives us the boldness and strength to keep moving forward even when moving forward seems tough. Jesus called His disciples directly. Though every Christian is called to be soul winners but, each minister has specific assignment/s. You need to know what God has assigned you to do. I am also a living example. I received a call from God in 1974. It was loud and clear. Even though there has being ups and downs but, because I heard, it is settled in my mind that no matter what, there will be no turning back for me, as Paul told Agrippa in Acts 26:19!

God Will Not Reward Services He Did Not Approve! 

Long time ago, I heard of an analogy. It went like this: There was a builder who was given a contract to paint a building. Surprisingly however, when he got to the building he discovered that not only did the building need to be painted, it needed doors and windows installed more than it needs painting. So, this builder decided to install the doors and windows rather than painting. When it came time to be paid, he wanted to be paid for the installation of the doors and windows. The owner refused to pay, pulled out the agreement signed by both of them and said: “You did a good job installing the doors and windows. I am sure they were needed but the job is not in our contract. I am only obligated to pay you for the job I asked you to do.” As one can imagine, it was a sad moment for this builder but the owner was just. It will make no sense to me either to pay for the food I did not order. So also it will be for some of us in the day of Reward. So, stay in your lane!







Stay In Your Lane


Rewards Are the Same Regardless of Call Or The Length of Service

No matter when we are called into the ministry, whether early or late in life, and no matter what we are called to do, the reward is the same for all. All of the rewards promised belong to every Christian that follow in the foot steps of our Lord and Savior, regardless of our gifts or when we got into the ministry.
Let us read from our Lord’s parables about one householder and his laborers in Matthew Chapter 20: 

Verses 8 through 15 read … So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard said unto his steward, call the laborers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first. And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny. But when the first (hour) came, they supposed that they should have received more, and they likewise received every man a penny. And when they had received it, they murmured against the good man of the house … But he answered one of them, and said, friend, I do thee no wrong...is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is thy eye evil because I am good? Matthew 20: 8-15.

We Must Engage Our Call With All Of Our Strength

In the parable of a nobleman, he told his 10 servants to stay “occupy till I come” (Luke 19:13). In the book of Eccles9:10, Solomon encouraged us, and wrote: 

Whatsoever thy hand finds to do, do it with thy might; for there is no work, nor device, no knowledge, nor wisdom, in the grave, whither thou goest.

Jesus worked all day, and prayed all night. We must be faithful servants, hardworking, fervent in prayer, in fasting as often as needed, in living by the word, and in witnessing our Lord & Savior. Our ministering to the dying world must be done, not through condemning but, through faith that works in love. People will respond to love than to gloom & doom message!
